The main purpose of FCE is to help abandoned children and youth gain a dignified life. From the moment that FCE begins working in their lives, the lessons begin - they are taught how important they are, how worthy they are of love and respect, and how to gain skills so they can become a part of society, so they can respect themselves. Underlying it all, FCE strives to teach every person that God loves them, and cares for them no matter what.

Many different ministries are run by FCE to help accomplish this goal - Casa Alba, the orphanage for younger children; Casa Silvia, a house for disabled orphans; Ciutelec, the elderly home; the various transit homes; teams working at the hospital, and at Popesti, the state-run orphanage. This work impacts approximately 200 orphans, 80 poor families, 20 disabled youth, and 30 elderly people.
